Pokahchamp 2025
Every year, we host a final for the club’s top players. Up until 2024, during the first 15 years, everyone who won an event in that year received a ticket to the Champ. Starting in 2025, we're changing course and applying the Sportify Poker model to the PokahChamp as well.
The top 150 monthly scores from unique players in the Pokah League will be invited to the Pokahchamp!
How to qualify for the Pokahchamp?
Anyone who takes part in a live Pokahnights event can earn Event Achievements. There are four different types in total, each with its own point value.
At the end of each month, we total the points for all players. The top 150 scores from unique players qualify for the Pokahchamp. The Pokahchamp season runs from December through November, so scores from December 2024 still count for this year. Starting this year, you can also earn multiple entry invitations. If you land in the top 150 more than once, you'll receive multiple tickets you can use.
In an extreme case, up to 600 tickets could be handed out, meaning 150 unique players each secured a top 150 score in four different months.
What can you win in the Pokahchamp?
The Pokahchamp is an invitational event, open only to players with an invitation. There is a buy-in of €50 per ticket you have won in the ranking and effectively used. In addition to the regular prize money, there is an added prize pool for this years finale:
€3,250 Pokahnights Vouchers for the final table:
winner: €1,000 vouchers
runner-up: €750 vouchers
bronze: €500 vouchers
place 4 and 5: €250 vouchers
places 6 to 9: €100 vouchers
In addition, all players who earn an ITM achievement receive a €100 GGPrepaid card. The Pokahchamp winner also receives a special collectable achievement: the Pokahchamp achievement.
Depending on the number of entries, the added prize pool can grow to around €7.500... an incredible bonus from the club for its top players. Good luck!
Pokahchamp Ranking
The Pokahchamp ranking is based on the 150 best, unique monthly results. By achieving exceptional results over several months, you can enter the top 150 multiple times. Each month is then good for 1 entry in the Pokahchamp in December.
